Welcome everyone! I’m so excited to share this card with you today! I have a huge crush on ink blended backgrounds with Moonstone Glimmer Paste. There’s just something about it that I could stare at it for hours.
I had done a card a while back creating underwater sunrays with glimmer paste but this time we are going to create a sunset.

CARD DETAILS
I’m going to start by creating my window on the front of the card. This way I can line up where my silhouette trees and blended background will go. I used the Circle Stackables to die cut a window from White card stock. Then I die cut the Palm Tree Border from Black card stock.
For the background I ink blended Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink with blending brushes. I used my window as a guide so I knew how much to blend. You could leave the background as-is and it would be gorgeous. I’m going to take it up a notch.
I’m using Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste and I’ll spread that over my entire ink blended background.
For the sentiment I die cut a banner from the Fancy Wavy Banner die using black card stock. Then I’ll heat emboss a sentiment from the Wavy Sayings stamp set in white embossing powder.
After my glittery sunset was dry, I attached my card front using foam tape and Lawn Fawn liquid glue.
