Cards Hero Arts

Forest Sunset – Hero Arts

Welcome everyone! I’m finally getting to playing with some of the goodies from last month’s release from Hero Arts. July was a little crazy for me especially with my hubby and daughter taking a trip to St. Thomas for a week. Then it was just me and Dalton and needless to say I did not get a lot done.

So when I found a couple minutes today, I played with the Forest Sunset die. Such a beautiful and simple die. It makes gorgeous cards in minutes!

The Forest Sunset die cuts out the center of your card stock. Pictured below I used Black card stock. For the background, I ink blended Blue Hawaii and Key Lime Fizz Reactive Inks. Then spritzed with water.

I stamped a sentiment on the front using Embossing Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment comes from the Celestial stamp set which I thought fit beautifully with this card.

My next card is using white card stock as my front panel and die cutting the Forest Sunset window from it.

I ink blended Grape Slush and Taffy Reactive Inks and spritzed with water.

Magical right?

My sentiment comes from the Camp in the Wild stamp set.

I still have tons more ideas for last month’s release. It just felt good to finally dig in and this was one of my most anticipated from the release.

I hope you enjoyed today’s clean and simple inspiration!
