Welcome everyone to the July Release for Gina K Designs! Grab a coffee, tea or whatever your preference and sit back because I have a TON to share with you tonight!

I’m kicking it off by showing you the brand new inks from Gina K Designs designed by Rina K called Electro Pop Inks. They are just that …. electric! Super vibrant colors!

VIDEO TUTORIAL

I have a video showing you the brand NEW Electro Pop Inks and making 3 cards start to finish. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS

One of the cards that I create in the video is featuring this beautiful foliage stamp from the Pop Art stamp set which is part of the Pop Art Flowers Card Kit. The Pop Art stamp set have some great layering images. Instead of layering in traditional colors, I chose a different approach.

This first card, my base layer for the image is stamped in Blaring Blue Electro Pop Ink. The second layer is stamped in Screamin Green and the third layer is in Tranquil Teal. Talk about eye-catching!

I used the coordinating die to cut it out and also cut 3 more layers in white and glued together with Connect Glue. I used white card stock as my base and Tranquil Teal card stock for a layering panel. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set and heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder.

Keeping with the non-traditional colors, I created a second clean and simple card. For the blue foliage, I stamped from lightest to darkest in Blaring Blue, Turquoise Sea, and Tranquil Teal. For the red foliage, I stamped from darkest to lightest in Raging Red, Red Velvet (stamped 3 times to darken) and then Fired Brick. The Fired Brick didn’t show up as well even though I stamped it multiple times but I can still see the layers and love it !

The sentiment for this card is from the Electro Pop Flowers stamp set in which I heat embossed in White Embossing Powder on Black Onyx card stock.

For my next card, I had one purpose in mind and that was to show off this amazing NEW Amalgam Obsidian Ink. A lot of times if I ink blend and want to stamp on top, I can see the design under the black ink. With Gina’s new Obsidian Black, it has amazing coverage!

I quickly ink blended the Sassy Stripes stencil (NEW!) onto White card stock using Poppin Pink Electro Pop Ink with a blending brush.

This Poppin Pink is pretty bright. I used this foliage stamp again from the Pop Art Flowers because it had a lot of solid areas. I stamped it in the Obsidian Ink and check out that coverage! I don’t see any of the stenciled design behind the black! This ink is an Amalgam Ink so you can use it with copic markers, colored pencils or watercoloring and you will have an amazingly crisp, dark, black line.

More inspiration! This time featuring the Main Squeeze stamp set. I masked off part of my card and used the Sassy Stripes stencil with Red Velvet ink to create a checked tabletop. Masking off the checkers, I ink blended Powder Blue ink to the top portion of the card.

For the lemons, I stamped them in Hello Yellow Electro Pop Ink. There is another stamp on this set that has little dots to give the lemons some texture. I stamped those in Sweet Corn Ink. After using the coordinating die to cut them out, I ink blended the bottom of the lemons with Wild Dandelion.

The leaves for my lemons are stamped in Screamin Green.

This next card is also featuring the Main Squeeze stamp set. I took a liking to the strawberries. I stamped the base layering in Raging Red Ink and the seeds in Red Velvet. The tops of the strawberries I stamped in Screamin Green because it’s such a beautiful vibrant color.

I wanted to create a whole card front with the strawberries but needed some greenery. I used the foliage from the Pop Art Flower stamped in Key Lime, Grass Green and Fresh Asparagus.

Melanie has created an amazing set! I know I’ll be using this in many backgrounds. This set is the Perfect Pallets. I love the look of the boards!

I stamped these boards out many times until I found what I thought was the perfect combination! Using Sandy Beach cardstock, I stamped the base layer of the boards in Sandy Beach Ink. Then the second layer I stamped in Kraft Ink.

I paired this background with some flowers & sentiment from the Elegant Asters stamp set.

One more example to share from the Perfect Pallets set is using it behind a window. I stamped the pallets in the same colors as stated before and added a sentiment stamped in Chocolate Truffle ink. Then, I die cut a circle window from white card stock using the Double Stitched Circle Die.

I popped up the window with foam squares and added on top of my background of pallets. I layered this piece to a panel of Sandy Beach card stock and then to a white card base.

The flower image and greenery is from the Vibrant Blooms stamp set.

Hope you’re still with me because I have more!

My next card features the Beautiful Balloons stamp set. This set has a solid image and also designs you can add to your balloons.

I first created my background by ink blending Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink. Then splattering with water for the water droplets.

I stamped out my balloons in Raging Red, Key Lime and Sweet Mango then used the coordinating die to cut out. I lined up where I wanted my balloons to go and then stamped the strings with the NEW Obsidian Ink.

One more for the Beautiful Balloons and this time I stamped them in all of the Electro Pop inks. I added the background by ink blending Blaring Blue with the Sunshine Stencil

More new products! Gina is releasing her very own Pastillage Texture Paste! This is a fantastic product because you can use it as is, like I did below or you can add ink with your reinkers or even your inks pads.

I did a quick background with the new Texture Paste. I ink blended Raging Red, Orange Glow and Hello Yellow onto white card stock. Then added the NEW Funky Flourish stencil with the Texture Paste.

Hope you enjoyed all of the inspiration I shared tonight. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the start of the 2-day blog hop!
