VIDEO

I have a quick process video that you can view below or HERE on my Youtube channel. I do apologize I had to set it to music as I have a horrible head cold right now and had difficulty doing a voiceover. I hope you still enjoy the video.

CARD DETAILS

My inspiration today is using the new Subbing In stamp set. I’ve mad a lot of underwater cards before but these critters are so unique looking! I don’t have a stamp set quite like it! I think my favorite is the Octopus.

I stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White card stock 80 lb and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut them out with my Gemini Jr.

For my background, I ink blended Blue Raspberry, Pool Party and Key Lim Fizz Hero Hues Reactive Inks.

I took the Snow Flurry stencil, spritzed it with water and laid it down on top of my background. I placed a piece of paper towel over the top and held it there for a minute. Since this ink is reactive with water, when I removed the stencil it left this textured look behind that looks like bubbles.

Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it down and stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Black ink. Then I added craft foam behind my blended panel and added to an A2 size notecard.

I arranged my images onto the card front and attached with liquid glue.

Be sure to head over and check out the amazing new release! There are a bunch of super awesome sets available. I’ll link the release and my supplies below.
