Scallop Box Card Pop Up & Rainbow Add On

Making interactive cards is so much fun! Today’s post/video is creating a Scallop Box Card Pop Up with the Rainbow Add On.

You can view the tutorial down below or HERE on my Youtube channel. I explain step by step how to put this box together.

CARD DETAILS

I start by coloring in my images. I’m using A Little Sparkle stamp set and the Fairy Friends stamp set. I stamped in Jet Black Ink onto Lawn Fawn White card stock. Then once colored, I used the coordinating die to cut out my images.

For my box card I used Mermaid card stock.

I created my own stencil by using the Puffy Clouds border die with white card stock. You could also use Acetate but white card stock was handy for me at the time I was creating.

Creating the rainbow was the most fun. I die cut the Rainbow from white card stock using the Rainbow Add On. To color the rainbow I dragged an ink pad across each strip. I used Bubblegum, Peach Fuzz, Butter, Celery Stick and Fresh Lavender. I also traced the rainbow onto some white card stock and cut out with scissors. This created a base for me to attach my rainbow strips to.

I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide to stencil on some clouds to my panel pieces and adhered my box together.

To add all of my fun images, I attache them to a skinny strip of Acetate and added to the inserts with double side adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
