On The Beach Center Picture Window – Lawn Fawn

Welcome everyone! I had a ton of fun creating this beach card using the Center Picture Window die from the Spring 2019 release from Lawn Fawn.

VIDEO DETAILS

I have a video explaining all the details of this card that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

The center picture window creates this fun pop up window scene on the inside of your card. I decided to create a beach scene for mine. I used images from the On The Beach which I stamped in Jet Black ink on Lawn Fawn White card stock. Then colored with my copic markers and cut out with the coordinating die.

Copic colors used are: E37, YR27, YR68, YR21; E79, E77, E74; RV14, RV23; BG49, BG43; YG23, YG03; E57, E35, E33; W2, W0

My card base is created using Mermaid card stock and the Center Picture Window die. I thought the Mermaid card stock was a fun pool color for my scene.

The inside panels were created using the Stitched Cloud Backdrop die and cut out with the Center Picture Window Add On. My beach is created by die cutting Kraft card stock using the hills from the Shadow Box die and lightly ink blending Walnut ink on the top. Then I added splatters of ink for texture.

I also included in my scene some palm trees from the Hammock & Trees die set. I used Cilantro, Paper Bag and Chocolate Bar card stock for my trees.

When all my coloring and die cutting was complete, I added my images to the panels and trimmed off the excess.

While creating this scene, I was thinking of a bunch of ideas for this window. Even though I just have waves in the background, you could add sail boats and/or fish. Just wait until the holidays come! Hope cute is this going to be ?!

For the front of the card, I used the Outside In Stitched Speech Bubble cut from Peacock card stock. I heat embossed the sentiment and added to the front. I actually had a different plan in mind when I created the speech bubble but it didn’t work out os I just added a palm tree and coconut drink.

School gets out this week and I cannot wait to give this to one of the teachers !

I hope you enjoyed today’s project ! I want to make a bunch of these fun scenes!
