Cards Hero Arts Watercolors

Hot Air Balloon – Hero Arts

Welcome everyone! I’m still experimenting with liquid watercolors and this one was super easy! I’m also playing around with the Hero Arts Reactive Inks. I broke down and got all of them. They are so vibrant which is right in my wheel house.

In this card, I’m using the Hot Air Balloon stamp/die set. I stamped my images onto watercolor card stock with embossing ink. Then heat embossed black embossing powder.

Using my Waffle Flower Media Mat, I watercolored the flowers with Leaf and Purple Liquid Watercolors from Hero Arts.

When my images were dry, I used the coordinating die to cut them out.

My background was created by ink blending Thistle and Pool Party Reactive Inks using Blending Brushes. Then I sprinkled on water and dabbed with a paper towel.

I stamped this beautiful sentiment towards the bottom of the card panel using Obsidian Ink from Altenew. This would make a great graduation card!

I finished off the card by adding my smaller balloon and the clouds with a tape runner. The large balloon I added with foam tape for dimension.

I hope you enjoyed this card and found some inspiration!
