CARD DETAILS
My first card is featuring the ever-amazing Ocean Minded Card Kit. I have a video you can check out HERE using the Ocean Minded Stamp but today I’m focusing on the Sun Kissed stamp set that is in the kit.
I stamp images in Amalgam Ink, color with copic markers and cut out with the coordinating die.
For the background, I ink blend Tranquil Teal and Blue Lagoon onto Layering white card stock using a Life Changing Brush. I trim this panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and add to a card base made from Ocean Mist card stock.
Using another piece of white card stock cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″, I die cut out a window using the Stitched Oval die. My little sand dune is created by die cutting a circle from Kraft card stock with the Double Stitched Circle die. I trim this piece down and add to my window so it’s just peeking up.
I’ll layer my window panel with foam tape and add to the front of my card. Then I can add my images with the Gina K Designs dot runner.
The word Sun is die cut from white card stock and I ombre ink blended Wild Dandelion and Tangerine Twist.
Here is another card I had created using the Ocean Minded stamp set. This card was created exactly as my previous cards from my VIDEO but this time I used Passionate Pink and Innocent Pink for the water. I just thought it was fun to change up the colors !
My next card is featuring the Whimsical Wildflowers Border set. I started by ink blending a panel of Ocean Mist card stock with Tranquil Teal and Blue Lagoon. Once the ink is dry, I heat emboss the frame image using white detail embossing powder.
I die cut the Hugs word die two times from white card stock and once from white glitter card stock and adhere together with liquid glue.
This beautiful scripty sentiment is also from the Whimsical Wildflowers Frames stamp set. I heat embossed in white onto Black card stock and trimmed to a thin strip with the Cut Align.
This detailed image looks amazing colored or heat embossed. So versatile!
