I have a tutorial that you can view below or HERE on my Youtube channel showing how to create this amazing beach scene. Heavenly right?!

I’m going to start my card by masking off the bottom of my card with Masking Magic paper and ink blending Wild Dandelion and Tangerine Twist with a Life Changing Blender Brush. I’ll place the Sunshine Stencil over the trop and light blend on some more Tangerine Twist.

I’ll remove my mask and add a new one to cover my ink blended area. This time I’m ink blending the bottom half of the card with Sandy Beach. From the masking magic down, I’ll ink blend Blue Denim and Blue Lagoon.

Once the ink is dry, I’m going to prep my card with an anti static tool, line up my ocean stamp and ink up with embossing ink. Placement of this step is kind of a big deal. You want to leave some beach showing. I made a couple where I didn’t have any beach and it just didn’t look right (to me). Next sprinkle on some Puffy Embossing powder and heat set. The puffy embossing powder adds so much texture and makes this look even more realistic!

To finish off the card, I trimmed the panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added a sentiment from the Sun Kissed stamp set to a circle cut with the Double Stitched Circles. My card base is made from Turquoise Sea card, layered with a piece of white card stock and adding my ocean panel.

For my next card shown, I created the ocean by ink blending Blue Denim at the very top and then Blue Lagoon and Sandy Beach. I heat embossed the ocean with the puffy white embossing powder and trimmed my panel down.

This time I added a sentiment from the Ocean Minded stamp set.

I layered the card with white card stock and added to an A2 size note card creating from Blue Lagoon card stock.

This set is so amazing you could create a scene and just frame it!

Be sure to head over and check out my video as it explains a lot!

Next I’m sharing some inspiration of the new stamp sets released tonight.

This is one is featuring Whimsical Wildflowers.

These florals from the Whimsical Wildflowers make a gorgeous border.

Timeless Beauty is a stunning of set with his fun lipstick that I stamped in Amalgam ink and colored with copic markers.

From clean and simple to a bright, bold background. Another card featuring Timeless Beauty.

There are a lot of stencils being released including the Leafy Stencil which I’m in love with! I lightly ink blended Key Lime and Grass Green. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Have Faith stamp set in the center of the card with Champagne Embossing powder.

I layered my panel onto white card stock and added to a card base made from Grass Green.

For my next card, I paired the Have Faith sentiment with a background created using the Deco Stencil. I ink blended a panel in Passionate Pink, Bubblegum Pink and Innocent Pink. Then I applied White Glitz Glitter Gel over the top with the Deco stencil.

Hi Mindy! I just found this post on Pinterest and I love your cards but I most intrigued by the leafy stencil one…quick question! How did you get the white shadow around the sentiment? I ADORE that effect!!
