CARD DETAILS
I fell in love with this stamp set the moment I saw it. This is the Ornate Foliage set and even though it has lots of different pieces to stamp out, it creates such an amazing design. The combinations are endless!
I have to fill you in on my inspiration for this card. I was scrolling through Pinterest one night and I saw this planter set. The second I saw it, the Ornate Foliage stamp set came to mind and I KNEW I wanted to try and recreate it. Here’s a look at my inspiration.
So what do you think? Did I come close? I think so! I stamped my images in Black Ink and then filled in the parts of the flowers using Lapis Lazuli ink pad set. These are such striking blues! Once the image was filled in, I used the coordinating die to cut them out.
For my background, I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Background Die. This has a beautiful swirl pattern that leaves a debossed pattern on your card stock. I used Neenah Solar white card stock for my debossing. Such a beautiful design!
My sentiment comes from the Fancy Greetings stamp set. Such a stunning style! I stamped the sentiment onto Blue Jay card stock with Embossing Ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I trimmed down and added to my card front.
I layered the Ornate Flowers around my sentiment. The bottom bundle of flowers is popped up with foam squares for dimension. For a finishing touch, I couldn’t resist adding a few jewels. I needed to have a little sparkle.
