Lawn Fawn Teacher Gifts Treat Boxes

Lawn Fawn School House Treat Box

Welcome back everyone! It’s getting to be that time of the year when I need to start thinking about end-of-the-year gifts for teachers and aides. I wanted a unique treat box so I had an idea to turn the Scalloped Treat Box into an old-fashioned school house.

I have a video you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Using Chili Pepper card stock is key in creating this as that is the color of the old-fashioned school house. Otherwise, it’ll look just like any house. I cut out the Scalloped Treat Box die twice from the Chili Pepper card stock.

For the door, windows and roof I’m using the Winter House Add on. I die cut those from Sunflower, Storm Cloud and White card stock. I also die cut a piece of Cilantro card stock using the Grassy Borders die and add a little Artichoke Ink to the top of the grass with a blending brush.

Before I assemble the box, I’m going to add all of my pieces using foam tape. I love the look of dimension on the school house.

To assemble the treat box, I’m adding Double Sided Tape to the flaps and the bottom of one of the boxes. Then use the bone folder to crease all along those score lines and attach together.

For the sentiment, I’m using the How You Bean Star Add On stamp set. All the teachers and Aids are stars in my book! I heat embossed this in white embossing powder onto Storm card stock and cut out with the Everyday Sentiments Banner Die. I attached to the front of my school house with liquid glue to finish off the treat box.

I love how this came out and I think it will make a great treat box! Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
