Cards Stencils Taylored Expressions

Mini Release Taylored Expressions

Welcome back everyone! I have some more cards to share today from the Mini release from Taylored Expressions.

This first card is featuring this adorable Little Monsters! This stamp set not only has these fun images but some great birthday sentiments.

I created the background using Sugar Cube card stock and the Snow Flurry Stencil with Lime Zest ink.

My images are colored with copics markers, die cut with the coordinating die and attached to the front of the card. I stamped the birthday sentiment in Oreo ink.

My next card is great for getting the kids involved in making cards! This stamp set is called Inky Fingers-Monsters. Your fingerprints are the images! How fun in that!? Of course I made my kids get their fingers inky and make these fun monsters.

I used the Subway Tile Stencil with Fired Brick Distress Oxide ink for the background.

My card is mounted onto a A2 size case base created from Sea Salt card stock.

Both of these sets are now available for purchase over at Taylored Expressions. Word also has it that the amazing Simple Strips Sentiments and Die is back in stock. They sell like hot cakes so be sure to pick that up quick! Here is some examples of the Simple Strips.

You can cut out 18 sentiments in one shot!

Here is a card I put together using some of those sentiments and the rest I’ll save for later.

Love your coloring of the little guys on your cards. Great color combinations and really fun cards. May I ask a question? I have the sentiments strip stamps and die and did some up yesterday. Had a bit of trouble embossing white on black where every one was perfect as yours look to be here. May I ask what cardstock, embossing ink, and embossing powder combination you used? I tried different combinations yesterday and yours just looks flawless. Thanks in advance if you are able to answer. If not, I understand.

    1. I used the Oreo card stock and white embossing powder from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the sentiments in Embossing ink from Gina K Designs. Make sure not to heat it too long because I have found if it’s overheated the embossing won’t look at solid. Good Luck!
