Welcome back to Day 3 of the Neat & Tangled April 2019 release! I hope you are enjoying all of the amazing inspiration we’ve been sharing with you. Today we are showcasing the gorgeous Receding Background red rubber stamp. There are so many possibilities with this one!
For my card today, I created a subtle background and paired it with the Lotus Flowers. I stamped the Receding Background onto Sage Green card stock with Sage Green Ink. I was really surprised how awesome this Sage Green is! I love tone-on-tone looks. I trimmed this panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to a white A2 size card base
I stamped the Lotus Flowers onto Neenah Solar White card stock with copic friendly ink. Then added some shading with my copic markers. I wanted to keep the flowers mainly white so I used my Warm Grays to add light flicks. I die cut the flowers out with the coordinating die and attached to the front of the card with foam squares.
Next, I die cut a Skinny Strip Banner from black card stock. I stamped the sentiment in Clear Ink and heat embossed with Champagne Embossing powder. I added this over my flowers with foam tape as well. My finishing touch is adding a few of the sequins from the Enchanted sequins mix using liquid glue. I topped off the sequins with Unicorn Stickles for a little more sparkle.
