Cards Copics Distress Oxide Inks Neat and Tangled Youtube

Neat & Tangled April Release Day 1 + Giveaway!

Welcome back everyone! Today is exciting because we are starting previews to the April 2019 release for Neat & Tangled. I’m not gonna lie, I may have went over board with examples. This is such an adorable release I just couldn’t stop playing with it!

VIDEO DETAILS

My card today also has an accompanying video that you can watch down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I’m one of those people that creates cards and then I’ll go back and remake one for a video. My first card here, was the first one I created. The card I remade for the video came out a little different and I’ll have those pictures at the end of the post.

Today we are featuring the stamp set To The Stars. How precious is this set? I stamped my images in copic friendly ink onto Neenah Solar white card stock and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut them out.

I used a piece of Layering White card stock to ink blend Tattered Rose , Worn Lipstick, and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide inks. The sentiment is heat embossed in white onto black card stock and then trimmed down. I added a few of the NEW Enchanted sequins mix to my card with liquid glue and added a drop of Unicorn Stickles to the middle of the sequins.

For my next card, I used a few of the other images off of the To The Moon stamp set. There is a constellation that you can die cut out or the set also includes an individual line and stars so you can create your own constellation.

For the background, I ink blended Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. Then applied Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer paste over the top.

I die cut a circle from a panel of white card stock and added over my textured background (once dry) with foam tape. I added this panel to an A2 size notecard made from Moonstone card stock.

The sentiment is heat embossed in white embossing powder on Moonstone card stock and cut out using the Skinny Strips die.

Now here is the card I recreated in the video. I was a little more heavy handed when it came to applying the inks which changed the look of the card a little. It’s amazing how even though using the same colors, just by changing your pressure, you can change the look of your card.

Both cards are equally adorable!

Alrighty that’s it for today from me. Be sure to check out my tutorial HERE using the To The Moon stamp set.
