I’m thrilled to be joining in the Pink and Main 5th Birthday Blog Hop. A big Congratulations to Michelle! I’ve know Michelle for a long time and she is just the sweetest. I’m so proud of her and what she has accomplished with her business. I have two cards to share with you today. I’ll have the blog hop list at the end of the post so be sure to check it out.

PRIZE INFORMATION

Michelle has some amazing prizes to give away!! Leave a comment on each stop (we love to hear from you!) and 5 random people will be chosen to win a $50 gift certificate to the store!! Comments need to be left by March 24th and winners will be announced on the Pink & Main blog on March 25th.

CARD DETAILS

I have a very colorful card to start you off! This was a background I created inspired by Jennifer McGuire when she was swiping the alcohol inks across her Yupo paper. I adore the rainbow and lines it creates! Perfect for birthdays!

I die cut the word Celebrate from Pixie Dust Glitter card stock and layered on top of 2 more layers of white card stock using liquid glue. I die cut the shadow piece from Vellum and adhered to my colorful panel. I’m only applying the liquid glue behind the letters so then my glue won’t show through on my Vellum.

The sentiment is from the Celebrate stamp set in which I stamped in Clear Ink onto Black card stock and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I trimmed this down to a thin strip and added to my card panel with foam tape.

My next card is using the Party Balloons stamp set. This set is really cool because you can add designs to your balloons! How fun!

I used various inks from Gina K Designs to stamp my balloons including, Lovely Lavender, Wild Lilac, Passionate Pink, Innocent Pink, Tranquil Teal, Sea Glass, Key Lime, Lucky Clover, Wild Dandelion, and Tangerine Twist. Then holding in place with Thermoweb Purple Tape, I die cut my balloons using the coordinating dies with my Gemini Jr.

I also created the balloon strips using Pixie Dust card stock for some sparkle!

For my background, I used a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and ink blended Spun Sugar on one end and Squeezed Lemonade on the other end with my Life Changing Blender Brushes.

I die cut the word Celebrate from Black and White card stock and off set it a little when attaching with liquid glue. This makes it appear as a shadow behind the words.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! These are great staple stamp sets to have in your stash for birthday cards!
