Neat and Tangled Stitching

Neat & Tangled March Release Day 3 + Giveaway!

Welcome back to Day 3 of Neat & Tangled March Release! I have something super special to share with you today but first don’t forget to leave comments along the way to be entered in the giveaway!

Neat & Tangled has been coming out with Stitching dies. I actually have the winter ones and even ordered felt but never took the time to sit down and figure out the stitching for them. If I can’t make an x…. I couldn’t stitch lol. Which is odd considering my Mom can sew anything! I just never sat still long enough for any of it to stick.

Now fast forward to receiving these dies for the March release. I had to hunt down some videos to figure out how to stitch and by George I got it! I may not be a pro at it but I’m pretty darn happy with how they turned out.

I even have a video that you can watch down below or HERE on my Youtube channel showing you some basic stitching.

Now seriously, these are adorable! I even added some eyelashes to my Llama! These were my first two I created using the Blanket Stitch. I’ll be recreating them in my video. One thing I forgot to add to them is a little string if you wanted to make them an ornament.

Also in my video I’ll be showing you not just a Blanket Stitch but a Running Stitch which is easy peasy. My daughter is ready to take off with my Llamas she loves them so much. These are cute to give as baby gifts, add a tag to add to a present, ornaments or just as decor. I’m sure there are tons more ideas but these are first ones that popped into my mind.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my projects today and enjoyed the video. Don’t forget to head to the Neat & Tangled Blog for more inspiration!

Below I’m listing a couple options for purchasing felt. For my project today, I used felt from Benzie Design. In the past I have also used felt from Taylored Expressions.
