MFT Super Dog!

Welcome everyone! I’m sharing a card today that I created for the MFT Sketch Challenge #425.

I started my card by creating the background strip. I masked off the area with post it tape and ink blended Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide. While leaving the mask in place, I applied Tonic Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste. This creates an amazing glimmery background! I removed the mask and set it off on the side to dry.

Next, I stamped my Super Dog onto some white card stock with MFT Extreme Black Ink and colored with copic markers. Then I used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Copic colors used: Dog body: E59, E57, E35, E34; Dog Ears: E79, E77, E74; Mask\Cape: B26, B24, B23; Suit: R39, R37, R35, R32

Once my panel was dry, I attached it to a white A2 size card base. My City Block silhouette is die cut from Black Glitter card stock using my Gemini Jr machine. I then added it to the front panel with Simon Says Stamp Tacky Glue. I also die cut the sidewalk using the Fog card stock from Simon Says Stamp.

My sentiment is from the Super Dog stamp set. I stamped it in clear ink onto Black card stock and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Gilded Embossing Powder. Then trimmed die with the Slanted Sentiments Dienamics. I attached the sentiment and Super Dog with foam tape for dimension.

I really enjoyed creating this card and all it’s glimmer!
