Big Blooms Lily – Taylored Expressions

Welcome back everyone! Today I’m sharing a card created using supplies from Taylored Expressions. This Big Blooms Lily stamp set caught my eye and couldn’t wait to color it up!

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube Channel.

Taylored Expressions provides some beautiful red rubber stamps that are already foam mounted. If you are using a stamping tool like the Misti, you will need to remove the foam insert since the stamps already have the foam on them. This will give you a perfectly stamped image.

I stamped my image from the Big Blooms set in Oreo Ink from Taylored Expressions. This was my first time using Oreo ink and it’s such a wonderful true Black and copic friendly.

After coloring my image, I die cut it out with the coordinating die that you can purchase separately.

For my background I’m using the Striped Background . This is perfect staple to have in your craft stash. I honestly don’t have a stripe background stamp so I was thrilled to pick this one up! I stamped the background onto Sea Salt card stock using Sea Salt Ink. In the video it looks a little dark but when I took the picture the next day, you can see it faded back a little because I was using the same color ink on the same color card stock. I think either way it turned out great.

My sentiment is stamped onto Oreo card stock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with White embossing powder from Taylored Expressions. I have to admit, this is an amazing white embossing powder! So crisp!

I mounted my striped panel onto a piece of Sugar Cube card stock with craft foam. Then the flowers are added with foam tape for more dimension. I finish off by adhering the sentiment in the middle and a few jewels from the Valentine Mix around the flowers.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and will take a look at the products from Taylored Expressions. They have some great quality products and excited to be sharing them with you!

Magic Picture Changer – Lawn Fawn

Welcome back everyone! I have a fun interactive card to share with you today featuring the new Magic Picture Changer from Lawn Fawn! This is magic right here! It is so much fun to create and the possibilities are endless!

I have a video you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube Channel. It’s a lot easier to explain in a video versus a blog post so be sure to check it out.

For my picture changer, I decided to have my sky change from daytime to night time. I used the new Butterfly Kisses stamp set and Little Fireflies.

I used Simon Says Stamp Masking Paper to create mask for my images. Then ink blended a background for each.

The new Spring Fling paper pack is amazing too! The patterns just scream Spring and match perfectly! I also used the 4-bar rectangle die to cut a piece of the patterned paper to match my stitching on my card.

My card base is created using the new Fog card stock which I love. It’s just a nice soft color.

Be sure to check out my video HERE as it explains my process in a lot more detail.

Loves Me Not – Spellbinders

Welcome back everyone! My card today is featuring this amazing stamp set, Loves Me Not, from the Just Add Color Collection by Stephanie Low over at Spellbinders.

This is a cling foam rubber stamp that you can use with an acrylic block or your Misti stamping tool. If you are using a stamping tool like the Misti, be sure to remove the foam insert and your images will stamp perfectly.

I stamped my image using Clear Ink onto a piece of Neenah White card stock that I prepped with an anti static powder tool. Then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Next, I ink blended Fired Brick, Ripe Persimmon and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide. This is actually a combo that I picked up from Kristina Werner.

Once my ink blending was done, I wiped away the excess ink to reveal the bright white embossing powder. I mixed Perfect Pearls with a little water and flicked onto my background. Then trimmed down my panel and added to an A2 size white notecard with foam tape.

My sentiment from the You Got This stamp set, is heat embossed in white onto black card stock and trimmed down to a thin strip. I then attached the sentiment strip to a piece of white card stock and trimmed all the way to leave a white border like a label. I love this look and you will be sure to see it again from me.

I attached the sentiment to the front of the card with foam tape. For one last touch, I added White Jewels around my image.

This is such a beautifully etched stamp. Be sure to check more from the amazing Just Add Color Collection.

Peony Foil Impressions

Welcome back everyone! I have some clean and simple cards to share today using the Peony Foil Impressions and the Gemini Foil System.

I have a tutorial you can also view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

The Gemini Foil System takes foiling to a whole new level for me. There are other machines out there that do this as well but this is the system that I own. The Peony Foil Impression will not cut the flower out but rather leaves an impression on the card with your choice of foil color.

For my card pictured below, I used Gold Foil on Ivory card stock. With the Peony Foil Impression from Picket Fence Studios there is also an outline die. This allows me to cut out my foiled imaged, which I did.

I’m using Ivory card stock as my base and layered with Neenah Solar White. I added the cut out foiled image to the front of my panel with foam tape for dimension. My sentiment is heat embossed onto Black card stock with Brutus Monroe Gilded Embossing Powder. The Tiny Words stamp set was perfect for this. It provided a beautiful sentiment while still allowing the Peony to be the focus of the card.

I trimmed out my sentiment using the Sentiments Labels die and added to the front of the card with foam tape. For a little sparkle, I attached Ivory Jewels with the Simon Says Stamp Tacky glue.

My next card, I foiled the Peony in Gold but used Blue Denim card stock instead. Absolutely striking! This time I did not cut it out. I trimmed my Blue Denim card stock down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to a White A2 size notecard.

I used the Tiny Words stamp set as before. I heat embossed the sentiment in Gilded Embossing Powder and die cut with the Sentiment Labels die. Then added to the front of the card with foam tape.

The possibilities are endless with these Foil Impressions and the foiling system. I was very impressed with how well the foiling came out. It’s so crisp and clean. Picket Fence Studios also has other impressions available that you can check out on their website.

Be sure to check out my video HERE on how to use the Gemini Foiling System. I go over just a few of the basics to get you started.

Mega and Mini Wreath Builder Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the Gina K Designs Mega & Mini Wreath Builder Hop. We hope to inspire you with tons of creations today! Complete hop list will be at the end of my post. Hop along, leave some love and one winner will be chosen to win a $50 gift certificate to Gina K Designs. Winner will be announced on March 1 on the Gina K Designs blog.

I have a quick tutorial for you featuring the Mini Wreath Builder stamp set and stencil. You can view it HERE or down below.

I created a couple cute little 3×3 notecards with the Mini Wreath Builder and Stencil. For my first card, I stamped my images in Jelly Bean Green Ink and Ocean Mist ink from Gina K Designs.

The sentiment is stamped in the center of the wreath using the Vibrant Blooms stamp set and Black Amalgam ink. I layered the card with White and Sea Glass card stock. My top panel is lined on the back with foam tape for dimension.

I also added some Unicorn Stickles around the wreath for a little sparkle.

For my second card using the Mini Wreath Builder, I stamped my images in Jelly Bean Green, Fresh Asparagus, Ocean Mist, Turquoise Sea, and Black Onyx ink. Using the mini ink cubes makes this process go so quick!

This card is layered together using White and Black Onyx card stock. I also lined the top panel with foam tape for the dimension and Unicorn Stickles for sparkles.

Now onto the Mega Wreath Builder! This stencil idea is amazing! You can create home decor or cards with it. Keep in mind you can either purchase the Mega Wreath Builder stencil separately or in a bundle deal with the large Misti which you will need to use the bigger stencils.

I apologize the picture isn’t the greatest but I hope it gives you a good idea of how you can use the Mega Wreath Builder.

I created some home decor using the Vibrant Blooms stamp set. I stamped my images in Fresh Asparagus, Lovely Lavender and Innocent Pink ink. The sentiment is stamped onto Lovely Lavender card stock with Black Amalgam ink using the Crafty & Creative stamp set. Then die cut with the Double Stitched Circle die.

I layered my project with Lovely Lavender and Black Onyx card stock and framed in a 13″ x 13″ frame.

My second home decor project is using more soft Spring colors. I used the same stamp sets as before which was Vibrant Blooms and Crafty & Creative stamp sets.

I used Jelly Bean Green, Key Lime, Innocent Pink and Bubblegum Pink ink. The project is layered with Ivory and Innocent Pink card stock.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration. Don’t forget to check out my tutorial on the Mini Wreath Builder on my Youtube channel.

Here is the complete hop
