National Coffee Day!

Happy National Coffee Day!!! Today I’m showing a couple different ways to use the fun new incentive stamp set from Gina K Designs.
This stamp set is perfect for me. I live off of coffee! For my first card, I smooshed down Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs Distress ink onto some Canson Watercolor Paper.
I trimmed down the panel and stamped my sentiment from the Perfect Blend Stamp set in Charcoal Brown Ink from Gina K Designs. This was then added to an A2 size cardbase made from Warm Cocoa Cardstock.
I stamped the coffee cup on white cardstock with Amalgam Ink and colored with copic markers. I fussy cut my image and added to my card with foam squares.
Copics Used
E37, E35, E31
W4, W2, W1
For my second card, I went for a more wintery feel. I stamped the new Snowflake background onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then ink blended Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink.
I trimmed my panel down and die cut a circle from the center. The sentiment is stamped from the Perfect Blend Incentive Stamp set from Gina K Designs in Amalgam Ink.
My image I stamped out and copic colored. Then fussy cut out and added to the middle of my circle with foam squares.
You definitely want this fun incentive set. Here’s a look at the entire set!

Stamp TV September Kit – Gina K Designs

Welcome back! When it comes to snowflake stamps, I just can’t get enough! This card is featuring one of the stamp sets from the Stamp TV Card kit from Gina K Designs.
If you’ve been following me for a while, this card should be no surprise. The Alcohol Lift Ink is fabulous for this ! I used it last month on the Skeleton Leaves stamp set which you can view HERE on my Youtube channel. I couldn’t resist using the Alcohol Lift Ink again with the snowflakes! If you are interested in seeing me use the Alcohol Lift Ink with the Snowflakes, leave a comment below!
I used a variety of blue alcohol ink for my background and also the Silver Mixative. Then used the Alcohol Lift Ink to leave the snowflakes ghost-like impressions. Once that was done, I heavily sprayed it with the Termoweb Iridescent Glitter Dust.
I trimmed down my panel, once dry, and added to a white piece of cardstock. This was then layered with craft foam and added to an A2 size cardbase.
I also heat embossed in gold another snowflake to add to the end of my sentiment. It’s so hard to capture the sparkle that this card gives off.
Be sure to head over and pick yours up today!

Rustic Autumn – Gina K Designs

Welcome back and Happy Friday! Today I’m showcasing a card I made using the new Rustic Autumn from the September 2018 release from Gina K Designs.
I fell in love with this barn the second I saw it! I grew up out in the country on a farm and this brought back so many memories. I don’t normally leave a lot of white space on my cards but this image deserved all the attention!
I stamped my images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with the Gina K Designs Amalgam ink. I masked off the barn so I stamp by trees behind it. Then colored with copic markers. I used the dot techniques on the trees to add leaves. For this technique I started out by just adding dots with the tip of my marker using the lightest ink of my combo which was the YG25. Then I brought in my midtone YG17 adding more dots but not completely covering my lightest. I tried to keep the darkest color G28 towards the middle and just adding more dots where needed.
The rustic detail on this barn is just heavenly!
Copic Used
Trees- YG25, YG17, G28
Sky – B00
Barn – R24, R37, R89

September 2018 Release

Gina K Designs September 2018 Release

It’s time for the Gina K Designs September 2018 release AND a new Stamp TV kit is being released!
I have some amazing creations to show you. I’ll give you some previews and then I’ll be sharing posts going into further detail of what I used to create them in future posts so stay tuned!
I have a video to share with you how I created this card that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I’m starting off with the amazing new Mandala Maker designed by Rina K. This coordinates perfectly with the Wreath Builder stencil. I start off by creating a galaxy background on Bristol Smooth cardstock. I’ll ink blend Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot.
I add splatters of white ink to create stars in the background. Then using the Wreath Builder stencil and Mandala Maker, I created my pattern. I am absolutely in love with this design! I couldn’t cover up the center because it was too awesome to look at so I heat embossed a sentiment in the center. The sentiment is from the stamp set Something Good In Everyday.
Be sure to check out my video for more details on this card!
Here is a quick snip-it of the cards I’ll be sharing in the future!
But wait! There’s more!
Here’s a look at the actual stamp sets.

Fall Mini Pop Up Box – Lawn Fawn

It’s time to really get creative and have some fun with the Mini Pop Up Box from Lawn Fawn!

I’m totally ready for Fall and it’s been feeling like Fall around here lately.
I have a step-by-step tutorial how I created this card listed down below or you can watch it on my Youtube channel HERE. I strongly encourage you to take a look as there is so much detail in the card you might pick up on something you like!
One of the things I really love about fall is taking the kids to the pumpkin patch. That is what I based my card scene on. I used Pick of the Patch, Hay There, and Happy Harvest stamp sets. I stamped my images onto Lawn Fawn white cardstock using Jet Black ink. Then copic colored my images. I die cut using the coordinating dies.
For the front of my card, I decorated it using the Quilted Backdrop and pattern paper from the Knit Picky Fall Paper pack. I added the Bunting Banners for the crows to sit on which reminded me of the movie Dumbo. The Happy Fall line border is die cut from the Autumn Glitter cardstock collection.
I popped up the sunflowers with foam squares from Thermoweb.
Is this a busy scene? Yes it is but it was so much fun to create! Scene cards can take a lot of time and for me it depends on the mood I’m in. I was really in the Fall mood and I know whoever enjoys it will love all the little critters and characters in it. Plus, the pop up is so much fun!
