Kraftin Kimmie Stamps – Preview Day 2

Welcome back to
Day TWO of our JUNE release
at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

We have TWO new stamp sets from artist Annie Rodrigue and these are the very LAST images from this artist.
As she has chosen not to do stamps anymore and has ended her contract, we can no longer restock/reorder ANY of her stamp sets. Once ANY of the sets in the Annie category in the shop sell out, they are gone for GOOD so be sure to snap them up!

I’m working with Melinda Mermaid today for my card. It’s so funny – I get asked all the time if my name is short for Melinda. Nope. Just plain ol’ Mindy.
I decided to create a one layer card. My image is stamped onto Neenah White cardstock with Wicked Black Ink from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. Then colored with copic markers.

I did a little experimenting with the background. I colored the entire background with copic markers. Next, I took an old rag and dabbed a little bit of Colorless Blender on it. Then went around my entire background, just making little dabs here and there. I kept repeating this process until I was satisfied with the look. This added some great interest and texture to the background.

I saw Kathy Racoosin do this from one of her Road Trips. I wasn’t there personally but someone posted a video and I thought it was a really great technique to try out.
