Cards Copics Pretty Pink Posh Simon Says Stamp

You’ve Got Mail – Pretty Pink Posh

I’ve been itching to play with the new release from Pretty Pink Posh! I finally sat down today and was able to play around a little bit.
I combined a few sets to complete this card today. First, I’m going to start with my background. I’m going to ink blend Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink and Spun Sugar Distress Ink onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. The Spun Sugar wasn’t quite pink enough for me so I lightly applied some Pink Raspberry Distress Oxide.
I mixed some Perfect Pearls Gold and water then flicked on top of the distressed background. Once dried, I die cut from the Stitched Rectangles die from Simon Says Stamp.
I stamped out some images from Happy Mail and Playful Puppies stamp set. I tried out Gina K Designs Amalgam ink using Neenah White carstock because it is safe for copic markers and watercolors. Then I colored the images with my copic markers.
I used the coordinating dies to cut out my images . Once I had an idea where everything was going to go, I stamped my sentiment onto the ink blended background using the Amalgam Ink.  I also cut out some cute little clouds from white glitter cardstock using the Picture Book Sky Die from Simon Says Stamp. I just thought my sky needed something sparkly.
I then attached all of my images onto my card front. My ink panel is attached to an A2 size notecard with fun foam for added dimension. Of course I HAD to add some of the new gorgeous Pearl White Jewels. They are so stunning. I added them around the scene using my Jewel Picker and Gina K Designs Connect glue.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and will take a look at the new release from Pretty Pink Posh. I’ll have more to share soon!

  1. That's beautiful! I have that set and have been struggling with getting the mailbox colored the way I like it. I can't seem to get the Copic Cs to blend well together and that makes me nuts.
