Blue Challenge – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

We’ve got a super easy theme for you this week and we hope you can play along!

This week let’s make something with BLUE!

I had a little fun with the new Krafty Inks and reinkers from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps for my card today!

Let’s start with my background. On some Neenah white cardstock I lightly applied some Mermaid Melody ink using a Clarity Brush. Then I took some texture paste, added a few drops of the Mermaid Melody reinker, a little glitter and mixed it together. I applied this mixture to my inked background with the waves stencil and let dry.

I diecut a piece of white cardstock from the stitched hills die and created an ocean floor with some Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. For my cardfront, I die cut a stitched circle. I used the stitched circle for my background and inked it with some more Mermaid Melody. Then I layered my ocean waves and ocean floor.

This fun sentiment from the Keep Swimming stamp set is stamped with the Mermaid Melody ink. I love this shade of blue! I could then attach my front panel to my ocean scene background with foam tape for dimension.

This sweet little turtle is from the Keep Swimming stamp set. I stamped it on Neenah white cardstock with Wicked Black ink and copic colored. I fussy cut the image and added it to the middle of my ocean scene with some more foam tape.
