Cards Copics Lawn Fawn

Lawn Fawn – Life Is Good

Welcome! I hope everyone had a wonderful day! I’m back showcasing a card I created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #28 which is a sketch challenge. I really liked this sketch and couldn’t resist creating another card for it. This time, I caught it on video!
I’m going to start by creating my front panel of my card. I use the Perfect Plaid Spring collection and die cut a circle from the center of the yellow plaid using the Stitched Circle Die. I will also trim down a blue piece of patterned paper from the Watercolor Wishes paper pack for a beautiful blue sky.
I’m going to create a little beach by diecutting the Stitched Hillside die from white cardstock and ink blending Antique Linen and Vintage Photo distress oxide inks. Taking the Vintage Photo and some water, I’ll create little speckles on the cardstock piece which in the end, you can’t really see anyway but it’s a fun look.
Next, I stamp my images from the Life is Good stamp set onto some Neenah white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink which is copic friendly. Then, color in all my images with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die set.
My sentiment is stamped in Versamark onto Mermaid cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I’ll trim it down to a small strip.
I will finish off my card by adding my images to the inside and outside of the circle and attached to an A2 size notecard from Mermaid cardstock. I love these summer colors!
