Welcome to Day TWO of our MAY Krafty Peeks
at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!
You *may* have seen this stamp set recently….because it was also part of one of our Krafty Kard Kits in combination with our brand new Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!
It’s MAGICAL FRIENDS!
This sweet springy stamp set is by artist Cheryl Grant!
It has four large image stamps including fairies, their little furry friends and a cute little fairy house!
The set also include five *fairy* special sentiments!
I wanted to create a magical little scene for my fairy. I start with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blend Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. Then spritz with water and dab with a paper towel.
Using another piece of white cardstock I trimmed down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and die cut from the center this forest look using the Birch Circle Die. I stamped my sweet sentiment from the Magical Friends stamp set using Wicked Black ink from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! Fabulous deep black ink. Then, I went ahead and attached this panel to my ink blended cardstock.
I stamped this adorable fairy onto Neenah white cardstock using Wicked Black ink because it’s copic friendly. Then colored her up with copic markers and fussy cut my image out. I added her to my card with foam squares and added a little shading under her toes to ground her a little. This panel is added to an A2 size cardbase. I finished off my card but adding a few star sequins with my Nuvo Deluxe adhesive and jewel picker.
