Today we are kickin’ off our MAY Krafty Peeks
You *may* have seen a peek or two of today’s stamp set over the last couple of weeks! That’s because it was part of our latest Krafty Kard Kit AND it works in perfect combination with our brand NEW Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!!
It’s BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS!
This new floral set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen is absolutely stunning! It contains several gorgeous large flower images….carnations, roses, daisies….oh my!
The set also comes with a choice of a few different leaf styles and stems! Plus the sweet sentiment, Bloom where you are!
For my card I created a bright background using Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber distress oxide inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then spritzed with water and dabbed with a paper towel.
I added a white frame using the Cloudy Frame Die. For my flowers, I stamped them with the new Kraftin Kimmie Inks! The leaves are stamped with Lovely Lagoon and the small rose is stamped with Purple Pansy. For the large Rose, I first stamped it with Raspberry Rose ink. Then I inked up my stamp again using Purple Pansy, stamped off on a sheet of paper and then stamped onto my image. So I’m layering the images to change the color a little. I love how it came out!
I fussy cut my images apart and layered onto the front of my card.
The sentiment is also from this lovely Beautiful Blooms stamp set. I added my panel to an A2 size cardbase. To give it that nice textured shine, I added some Distress Resist Spray to the front of my card. I finished it off with some sparkling clear confetti.
