My project for today is using the new Silly Monsters Say Cheese stamp set!  I may have gotten a little carried away on this one haha! I had a vision in my head and I doing my best to make it all come to life on paper.
I’m starting off by stamping out all my images onto Neenah white cardstock with YNS black ink which is a copic friendly ink. Then I colored with copic markers and cut out with the coordinating die set that can be purchased separately.
Today’s card is a trifold card. I took a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it down to 5 1/2″ x 11″ and lightly marked with a pencil where my scored lines will be which is at 3 5/8″ and 7 1/4″. My one end sticks out a little but I’m totally ok with that. I just made little tick marks for the scored lines. Right now I’m just mapping it out. Then I started on my scene.
I used a brick wall stencil and some Fired Brick distress oxide ink and applied then to my background but just to the top portion of the card. I started on one side, inked up the area then shifted my stencil doing my best to line up the bricks each time. I purposely left some areas softer in color then others.
Next, I added some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink to the bottom half of the card to represent a sidewalk. I lined up where I wanted my images to go and lightly added the Radiating Rays stencil with Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide ink to behind where my image would be. I also went ahead and stamped out my sentiments.
Now I could go ahead and make my scores lines and erase the tick marks. I add my images to each panel and topped it off with some glitter gold stars.
