Nice List- Pink & Main

Hi everyone! Today’s post is focusing on some new products from Pink & Main. They are such fun images that I ended up making TWO cards!
For my first card, I stamped my reindeer pulling the sleigh onto Neenah white cardstock and colored with my copics makers. Then I cut it out with the coordinating die. For the background I inked up a piece of Neenah white cardstock using Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks. Then I spritzed with water and dabbed off with a paper towel.

I cut my window from Simon Says Stamp Silver glitter cardstock using the Pretty Pink Posh Window Frames die. I adhered this over my distressed background and attached my reindeer image to the center. My word die is added to the bottom using foam squares. This finished panel is attached to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ cardbase.

For my second card, I distress a panel of white cardstock with Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks. Then spritzed with water and dabbed up the excess with a paper towel. I purposely left the middle pretty light. My image is from the Nice List stamp set in which I stamped on Neenah white cardstock and colored with my copic markers. I then cut it out with my coordinating die set.

Before adding my images, I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Portraits set to the bottom center of the card panel. I then added my sack of presents and my Santa with his list. The Santa is popped up with foam squares. This was all attached to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ cardbase.

These images are so fun and so cute to play with! Isn’t that Santa adorable!!

Daisy …. or a Sunflower??

Hey everyone! I’m sharing a card I created for the Your Next Stamp Challenge #75. I decided to use the fall color scheme to play along. My problem was I didn’t have any fall stamps from Your Next Stamp… sooooo …… I used the Spring Daisy stamp set and turned it into a Sunflower! What do ya think?
I stamped my image onto Neenah white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp black ink and colored in with my copics. Then I cut it out with my scan n cut machine. This stamp also has a coordinating die you could use which I linked to below.
For my background, I used the Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Messages stamp set which I got in a kit but can also be purchased separately. I stamped it down my Neenah white cardstock panel using a variety of fall colors in the oxide inks. They are also linked down below as well. I think the oxides look super awesome on this! The stamp set was never used so it wasn’t broke in and the oxides left some white blotches here and there which I think really added character to the card. I only stamped them once each in each color.
Then I stamped my sentiment which is also on the Spring Daisy stamp set. I trimmed my white panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added it to a brown cardstock base measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. I added the sunflower on with foam squares.

Dragon Queen – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday with Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! I hope you check out their BLOG because they have so many fun ways to be able to win some free stamps!!! Today’s challenge is anything goes and you have one week to play!
My card today is featuring the absolutely awesome Dragon Queen. She is a Krafty Komeback and thank goodness because I missed it the first time it was released. So excited to get my hands on it!
I started with coloring her onto Neenah white cardstock with Simon Says Stamp black ink and coloring in with my copic markers. Now this stamp is on unmounted grey rubber so what I do is take a big block and throw some doulbe sided adhesive strips on it. Then I remove the backing and I can attach my stamp to the black that way. It’s been working great for me.
Once I have my image colored, I cut it out with my Scan n Cut.
For my card, I cut out the tree using the Simon Says Stamp Bare Tree Oval Collage die. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the Dragon Queen set using Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder. Next, I spritzed the entire black panel with some Sparkle Shimmer Spritz. So gorgeous on black cardstock!
Next, I threw down some Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers and a little Black Soot Distress Oxide inks and spritzed with water. I added this small piece of cardstock behind my tree opening. Then I attached this panel to a white piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Finally I added my colored image with some foam tape. Love how this all came together !

Holiday Mischief – Newton’s Nook

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a fun card featuring this darling kitty from Newton’s Nook. I also have a video to accompany this card that you can watch either here on the blog or on my Youtube channel HERE.
I started out by stamping my image from Holiday Mischief onto some Neenah White cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Black Ink. I stamped my hat first and then masked it so I can stamp the kitty. Then it looks like the hat is sitting on top of the kitty’s head. Next I colored in with my copic markers. I added that little Santa placecard towards the end of my process because I didn’t realize it was on the stamp set – so cute!!
I cut multiples of the Ho Ho Ho die cut from Simon Says Stamp from red, green and black cardstock. I did some layering to make them dimension. The green has about 4 stacked, red has 2 and black has just the one because I need to layer on to of it. I actually attached these all together with glossy accents because I couldn’t find my Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.  Before adding them to my card, I lined them up to get an idea where I could stamp my sentiment.
I then added a strip of Silver Glitter Cardstock and a patterned piece of paper from Pink & Main to the bottom of the card. The card is finished off with Nuvo Crystal Black Ebony drops. Does it look like an odd placement of drops? If you watch the video I had a small black smudge in the corner of my card so I decided to add the Nuvo drops to cover it up. I added two sets and wanted a third but had a heck of a time deciding where it should go haha! Either way, I’ve very happy with this card!

Here’s the video for you to take a closer look at the process.
