Online Card Classes Rainbow Maker

I’ll be splitting these posts up throughout the week because I have quite a few cards to share. I joined in the fun with Online Card Classes Rainbow Maker. It’s amazing class filled with tips, tricks, techniques and lots of ideas taught by some amazing artists.
I made sure to take a little bit of time each day to work on some things from the class and then put final touches on them over the weekend. I really enjoyed the first day so I have quite a few cards for that one! I hope it doesn’t bore you haha! I strongly recommend checking out the classes and you can still purchase them.
I will list out the supplies at the bottom of the post. So grab some coffee and sit back … warning … one card does have some slight profanity.
Day – Rainbow Inking (of course my favorite!)
Day 1 started with ink blending. This first card was ink blending from the center and going around. I used a variety of inks on this card including: Distress Inks – Wild Honey, Gina K Cherry Red & Jelly Bean Green, Simon Says Stamp Ink Hot Mama & High Dive, Close To My Heart Orange. I will be using these colors throughout the class.
This next card I used my Clarity brushes to brush on color and then go over top in the same colors with a stencil. I chose the Polka Dot Stencil. The I die cut the word Stars using the Dienamics Shining Stars Die 3 ties from black cardstock so I could layer it. I also added the sentiment from the Written in the Stars Stamp Set.
This next one was a really fun technique of adding a stencil on top of a stencil. The sentiment is new from CZDesign and it may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I thought it was hilarious! Some people aren’t into flowers and unicorns and that’s ok. We all have different tastes.
This was another stencil on top of a stencil and it took a little work lol …. but I am happy with the results.
This card is ink blending using only 3 inks…. blending the red and yellow to make orange and mixing the yellow and blue inks to make green.  The Hooray die is new from Neat & Tangled that I layered up and spritzed with some glitter spritz.
Whew! That was a lot of cards and if you stuck with me the whole time – kuddos to you!! I will try and link up most of the products that I used. I was all over the board when creating these cards – you should have seen my desk! Thank you for stopping in!
