Cards Copics Embossing My Favorite Things Simon Says Stamp Watercolors

Bookworm Splatter Card -Clearly Besotted

Had a little fun with this one and created a splatter card.
I started out by creating my background using some Canson Watercolor Paper. I wet the paper down with clean water and then applied some drops of watercolor paint here and there and let it spread out. I also took some of the colors and splattered more paint on it.
Once it was dry, I used my Blueprint 29 die to create the stitched border. I matted this piece to white cardstock and used green carstock for my actual base measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ .
I’m kind of in a school-mode so I used this super cute Clearly Besotted stamp Bookworm. I stamped it out on Neenah white cardstock and colored it up with copic markers. Then cut it out with my Scan n Cut machine.
My sentiment is stamped with Simon Says Clear Ink and heat embossed onto black cardstock with Simon Says white embossing powder.  I added the black strip down to my matted background and attached my bookworm with foam squares.
Such a great card for the kids going back to school!
