Your Next Stamp Challenge #71

I love the images from Your Next Stamp! These critters are just the cutest! I’m playing along with their sketch challenge and decided to use the Snorkel Fish. All supplies will be listed down below.
I created my background using the Tim Holtz watercolor paper and my Gansai Tambi watercolors. I taped my paper down using some painters tape, wet by paper with clean water and a big brush and then used some blue from my watercolor palette and just went back and forth with my brush. After it was dry, I flicked some white and black paint on it for some speckles. Once all of it was dry I trimmed my piece down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and adhered to my white card base using double sided adhesive. I used this adhesive because the paper is so thick and even after drying with my heat tool it was trying to curl.
My snorkel fish I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Neenah White Cardstock and colored with my copic markers. Then cut out with the Scan n Cut machine to add to my center diamond.  For the sentiment which is also off of the snorkel fish set, I stamped using Memento Tuxedo black ink and cut out with my Word Bubbles Die. The fish is adhered using foam squares for some dimension.
My finishing touch is adding some Nuvo Crystal Drops which look really cool on the colored cardstock.

Mix It Up Challenge #34 – Sugar Pea Designs

Welcome back everyone! I have TWO posts to share today so be sure to hit the HOME button at the top to see what else I’ve been up to!
I’m sneaking in some challenges before the end of the month and one of them is for Sugar Pea Designs.  You can use the sketch, the colors or both! I started with an idea and then it kind of went off on its own haha. I went with a blue theme for my card which is what I took away from the colors on the right. All the supplies are listed down below.
School is just about to start and I need some cards for the teachers and aides (and there are a lot of them!) . I colored the teacher and chalkboard from Class Act with my copics using Neenah Solar White and cut them out with my Scan n Cut. My sentiment is also from that stamp set and I just trimmed it down .
For the background, I used my Jumbled Letters Stencil and Gina K Blue Denim ink and trimmed it down with my Blueprint 29 die for the stitched border. The rest is just aligning and I’ll adhere it all down with Tombow adhesive.

Wonderful Wednesday – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

Hello Everyone! Did you miss me ?! I’ve been on “vacation” since last week and boy did I miss crafting! I had a fantastic time on my trip but it’s nice to get back into the swing of things. Then to top it off school is starting! Thanks for hanging in there with me and stay tuned – I’ll have videos coming soon!
Anywho – it’s Wonderful Wednesday over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! Be sure to check out the blog for more details on how to join in the challenges – it’s always a fun time!
I’ve seen this type of card floating around and I wanted to give it a try. I will admit, it was really hard for me not to color the image but it turns out really cool!
(List of supplies down below)
I ink blended the background with distress inks onto Bristol smooth cardstock and spritzed it with water. Then I die cut it to give it that stitched frame border. The die cut – I’m sorry – I cannot find a link for it or the packaging of what it’s called but what I did is blended the same colors I used on the background on another sheet of cardstock. Then I die cut the leaves from it.
I added the stitched frame piece to some craft foam with double sided tape and then attached to a 4 1/4″ x  5 1/2″ card base. I stamped the image from Woodland Critters and used my Scan n Cut to cut it out. The sentiment is from the  Raindy Days Lulu stamp set and I added it to a flag banner.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card -definitely something different and unique to try! Be sure to follow me on Instagram for sneak peeks and happy mail pictures!

Witchy Poo – Krafty Komeback!

Looky! Looky!!! It is a Krafty Komeback today featuring WitchyPoo! How awesome is this set? Plenty of time to get your hands on it for some Halloween cards!

As you know, lots of our rubber stamp sets have long retired and are not available for purchase anymore. Well, we’ve decided to switch some things up and rerelease a few of your faves in CLEAR! And today we’re announcing a new one! You all have been loving these, so here we go again!

Our amazing artist, Annie Rodrigue has revamped this fabulously spooky image and I’ve changed up some sentiments, so even if you have the original from years ago, you’ll want to grab the new one!

I have a little scene I created on my card for little miss witchy poo as she flies through the night sky.
My background I ink blended with Wilted Violet, Spiced Marmalade, and Block Soot distress oxides onto Neenah Solar White caredstock. Then I spritzed it with water and added some flicks of white paint. I heat embossed the sentiment with Gina K Designs white embossing powder and added a few die cut clouds from Jaded Blossom.
My image is colored with copic markers and cut out with my Scan n Cut machine and added to my card with foam squares. I added a few drops of  Nuvo Gold Glitter for extra stars.
Now be sure to head on over to Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and pick up your stamp!!

Hello Spring…. ? Wonderful Wednesday Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

Yep – you read that right…. Hello Spring! haha! Even though we are heading into Fall, I thought these cute little critters needed some love.
All supplies are listed below
Today’s card is for the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Wonderful Wednesday Challenge so break out those stamps and play along for a chance at a prize! Be sure to head over to the blog for more information! Lots of fun stuff going on with Kraftin Kimmie Stamps ! Don’t miss it  !
I started off creating my background with some distress oxide inks. I used Seedless Preserve, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean. I blended them together on Bristol Smooth cardstock and then spritzed it with some water using my Tim Holtz Distress Spray bottle. I trimmed this piece down with the Blueprint 29 Die for the stitched border. I stamped the sentiment using my Misti tool and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then layered the distressed panel onto some some white cardstock and then that with foam before adhering to my cardbase.
Next, I stamped my images on some Neenah White Cardstock, colored them with copic markers and cut them out with my Scan N Cut. I also cut this beautiful Flower Circle from the Flower Circle Die. I added this to my card using some Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive because it has such a fine tip.
I then added my cute critters into the middle of my flower circle.
For some finishing touches, I added the Like Magic sequin from Neat & Tangled and Black Ebony Nuvo Drops. I couldn’t stop myself and added Silver Moondust Nuvo Drops to the centers of the flowers of the circle die cut. I also touched up my eyes and nose on my critters with Ebony Black & Shocking Pink Nuvo Drops. Can you tell I just love my Nuvo drops!?
I hope you enjoyed today’s card!
