Gerda Steiner Pool Piggie Shaker Tag

Welcome back! I’m Guest Designing today for Gerda Steiner Designs with  the new Pool Piggies set. It is super adorable!! Today I have a cute shaker tag AND a video to share!
I decided to try using some foam instead of foam tape for my shaker window and I love how it worked out! Be sure to check out the video to see the full process.

  1. Cute tag. Nicely done. I just found your blog and am finding lots of candy. You mentioned the scan and cut machine. Do you use it Much? Can it cut right up to the line or must you have a Border? Pros and cons and how do you use It? Card making? Scrapbooking? Other Crafts? Would you recommend ?

  2. HellO! Thank you for your wonderful comments. I love my Scan N Cut machine and so happy I made the investment. I do not like to waste time with fussy cutting – I'd rather be coloring haha so the Scan N Cut is a big time saver. It can cut right up to the line or you can add as much of a border around it as you want. Honestly, I've only used it for scanning and cutting my images. It cuts beautifully but the mats don't last very long. I actually tape my paper down with painters tape onto the mat – I hope this has helped some. I've heard plenty of people using it also for svg files for scrapbooking but it has its own software that I never ventured into. Good luck!
