Hog Heaven My Favorite Things

I may have gone a little …. hog wild… with this set and sketch challenge. I decided to play along with the sketch from My Favorite Things and I liked the outcome so much and had all the supplies out that I decided to keep going! I made a couple extra small cards because I can always use a thank you card.

I started out stamping my image onto some Xpress It Blending Cardstock and then also on a post it note with my Misti Stamp tool and Premium Dye Ink. I fussy cut the image on the post it note and put it over the top of my image on the blending cardstock. Next, I used my new Clarity brushes and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and lightly applied some blue around my image. I removed my mask around the image and colored it up with my copic markers.

To prepare my sentiment, I cut come black cardstock with my Flag Die from Jaded Blossom. I used one of the sentiments from the same stamp set and heat embossed it with Versamark and WOW Bright White embossing powder.

Once cooled, I trimmed it down and adhered it under my image. For some dimension, I added a foam square behind my mat and adhered it to my cardbase. Final touches is some cute enamel dots from C.C. Designs . This all actually goes together really quick once you have all the supplies out.
