Being it’s my hubby’s birthday on Friday and I make cards… I figured I better make him one ha! This seemed like the perfect fit! I chose the sentiment “Happy Birthday You Party Animal” because we are NOT party animals anymore lol …. Kids slow you waaaaaaay down. And that’s ok because we love being parents! I kind of whipped this card up last minute for him so as soon as the kids wake up I’ll have them each sign the card.

I stamped my image in Premium Dye Ink Black Olive from Your Next Stamp. It’s a real nice solid black that doesn’t fade once its dry.
I also used my Misti Stamping Tool to stamp the image because this allowed me to stamp it twice to make sure all my lines showed up. Clear blocks or not… I can never seem to line my stamps up just right to stamp twice.

For the hats I colored them up as solid colors and ran my colorless blender down the middle of the hats. Then I came back in softly flicking inward. That way I didn’t need to dig out different colors for shading. Real easy and quick!
