More Tear Critters and Tear Bears

So as I was making my post yesterday on the tear critters – it dawned on me I probably didn’t post my previous ones lol. Sorry about that…. so i wanted to show you some other critters I’ve made.
These are all made from Mulberry paper. You really don’t catch the whole affect of these on camera – they are so fluffy and cuddly looking in person!

All patterns used are from The Beary Scrap.
Thanks for stopping in!

My new toy !

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I’ve been missing in action – been working on some inventory in paper piecings. I also got a new toy….. my Valentine’s present was a Silhouette Cameo! So excited! I was using the cricut expressions but the blade was really starting to drag on it and it started to give me some problems with cutting certain shapes/objects.

I did my research and decided my next machine was going to be the cameo. It arrived the other day and it only took me minutes to set up and it’s super light weight! A little louder than the cricut but it cuts so baby smooth!
Here is a picture of what the cameo looks like closed up. All I have to do is open the lid and hit power.

Now it does come with software which offers TONS of cutting files but….. I was using a different program – Sure Cuts A Lot. I had purchased this software before they released the new version that’s not compatible with the cricut anymore. I really like the Sure Cuts A Lot program. It is soooooo user friendly. I tried other programs but this one is just so quick and easy. It also uses SVG files which I find to be the easiest to work with. The software that came with the Silhouette used a different file type and I really had a hard time with it.

So ….. I updated my Sure Cuts A Lot and I am back up and running and cutting away.

If Sure Cuts A Lot is something you are interested in – I suggest checking them out. I definitely refer people to it since I like the program so much and have now become an affiliate with Craft Edge.
Here is the link or it will also stay listed in my sidebar.

You can always just download the trial version and purchase later if you like it.

Open for Business!

Hi Everyone! I had a very exciting day yesterday! A couple weeks ago I was invited to sell my premade paper piecings in a local scrapbook store Down Memory Lane. This is a great opportunity for me and I’m so excited and  very thankful to them for giving me a shot. Here is the start of my display….

There is also going to be a rack set up on my bigger sets too. I’ll take a pic of all of it once its complete.
